Experts from Shaanxi International Medical Exchange Promotion Association Participate in the Weinan "Famous Doctors at the Grassroots - Building a Healthy Road Together" Traditional Chinese Medicine Culture Night Event

From August 16 to 18, 2024, the "Famous Doctors at the Grassroots - Building a Healthy Road Together" Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) Culture Night event was held at the Central Square in Weinan City. Over 200 experts in both traditional and Western medicine from provincial, municipal, and district levels, along with more than 300 healthcare workers from the district, formed a strong team providing on-site consultations, diagnoses, and treatments for the citizens.

Participants from the Shaanxi International Medical Exchange Promotion Association (hereinafter referred to as "Shaanxi Medical Promotion Association") included Honorary President and Academician of the European Academy of Natural Sciences, Chairman of the European Traditional Chinese Medicine Center (Prague), Jiao, Fuyong; Zhang, Yong, Director of the Acupuncture Department at Shaanxi Provincial People's Hospital; Wang, Xiangyang, Chairman of the Chinese and Western Orthopedics Committee of Shaanxi Medical Promotion Association, Renowned Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner at Xi'an Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital, and Director of the Spine Department of the Orthopedics Division; Song, Yanmin, Chairman of the Chinese and Western Ophthalmology Committee and Deputy Director of the Ophthalmology Department at Xi'an Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital; Lv, Peilin, Chief Physician of the Ophthalmology Department at Shaanxi University of Traditional Chinese Medicine; Liu, Bo, Chief Physician of the Spine Department of the Orthopedics Division, Su, Xiaoqiang, Chief Physician of the Spine Department, and Ma, Shihang, Attending Physician of the Ophthalmology Department at Xi'an Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital; and Guo, Yanzhao, Chief Physician of the Pediatrics Department at Xi'an Traditional Chinese Medicine Brain Disease Hospital, and Hong, Dengpan, Associate Chief Physician of the Internal Medicine Department, among other experts.

The event featured pulse diagnosis and consultation by renowned doctors, experience of special treatments, tasting of traditional Chinese medicinal teas and delicacies, showcasing of cultural and creative products, and performance of health-preserving exercises. The TCM Culture Night Market was characterized by inheritance and innovation, cross-industry integration, and offered a rich variety of activities. It catered to the health needs of the citizens, allowing them to enjoy high-quality medical services right at their doorstep, and showcased the vibrant essence of traditional Chinese medicine to the public.
