2024 Academic Annual Conference and the Fifth Session of Cervical Lesion and Colposcopy Standard Training of the Women's Health Special Committee of the Shaanxi International Medical Exchange Promotion Association Successfully Held

On November 30, 2024, the Academic Annual Conference and the Fifth Session of Cervical Lesion and Colposcopy Standard Training organized by the Women's Health Special Committee of the Shaanxi International Medical Exchange Promotion Association, and hosted by Xi'an Central Hospital, were successfully held at Xi'an Central Hospital. Vice President of the Shaanxi International Medical Exchange Promotion Association and President of Xi'an TCM Hospital of Encephalopathy, Hujie Song, Deputy Director of Xi'an Central Hospital, Hongjun Guo, and Honorary Chair of the Women's Health Special Committee of the Shaanxi International Medical Exchange Promotion Association and President of Angel Women's and Children's Hospital affiliated with Northwest University, Yaqin Wang, were invited to attend and delivered speeches.

The conference invited experts from within and outside the province to discuss and study the topics of eugenics and cervical lesions. This year's conference included a case-sharing competition, with nearly 300 professionals from obstetrics and gynecology, psychology, pediatric, neonatology, and ultrasound departments from various hospitals across Shaanxi Province, and more than 20,000 participants joining online.

Binglin Li, Chair of the Women's Health Special Committee of the Shaanxi International Medical Exchange Promotion Association and Director of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Xi'an Central Hospital, summarized the achievements of the Women's Health Special Committee over the past year in areas such as public health education, grassroots clinics, various case competitions, and academic development. This year, the gynecology department of the central hospital was recognized as a municipal key clinical specialty, further enhancing the service capabilities of the team.

The case-sharing competition showcased 12 participants from eight hospitals who were selected through preliminary case screening. The participants presented their cases vividly and comprehensively, demonstrating solid clinical reasoning skills and benefiting greatly from discussions with the judges on site.

This academic annual conference not only provided a platform for experts to exchange and learn but also ignited the passion and pursuit of the medical profession among colleagues. In the future, the Women's Health Special Committee will continue to uphold the purpose and spirit of the annual conference, constantly exploring new knowledge and technologies in the medical field, and contributing to the health industry of humanity.
