From April 18 to 20, 2025, the 9th Chang’an Hematology Conference (2025CHC) and the Symposium on Lymphocyte Disorders were successfully held in Xi’an. The event was jointly hosted by the Shaanxi International Medical Exchange Promotion Association and the Shaanxi Anti-Cancer Association, and organized by the First Affiliated Hospital of Xi’an Jiaotong University, the Shaanxi Hematology Specialty Alliance, the Hematology Committee of the Shaanxi Medical Exchange Promotion Association, and the Tumor Immunotherapy Committee of the Shaanxi Anti-Cancer Association. The opening ceremony was chaired by Professor He Pengcheng, Director of the Department of Hematology at the First Affiliated Hospital of Xi’an Jiaotong University, Honorary Chair of the Hematology Committee of the Association, and Chair of the Tumor Immunotherapy Committee of the Anti-Cancer Association.

The conference focused on clinical and technical hot topics, exploring the academic frontiers, challenges, and latest advancements in hematology. To integrate party building with professional development, a special lecture was presented on The Spirit of Bethune and the Communist Values.

The event featured two main sessions—Lymphocyte Disorders and Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation—and nine parallel sub-forums. Renowned hematology experts from China and abroad were invited to share updates covering lymphoma, multiple myeloma, leukemia, stem cell transplantation, and cellular immunotherapy. Participants exchanged the latest international research findings, clinical guidelines, and academic perspectives in the field. Attendees remarked that the conference broadened their horizons, refreshed their knowledge, and effectively facilitated information sharing.

The "Chang’an Hematology Conference" has been successfully held nine times and is a flagship academic event co-hosted by the Shaanxi International Medical Exchange Promotion Association and the Shaanxi Anti-Cancer Association. It aims to strengthen exchange and cooperation between basic and clinical hematology sectors in Shaanxi, build an integrated platform for multidisciplinary collaboration in blood disease treatment, and jointly advance innovation in hematological diagnosis and therapies. For hematology professionals in Shaanxi and across China, this annual academic gathering holds significant importance for the development of the field.
