2025 Annual Academic Conference of the SIMEPA Neurointervention Committee Successfully Held

 

On November 15, 2025, the 2025 Annual Academic Conference of the Neurointervention Committee of the Shaanxi International Medical Exchange Promotion Association (SIMEPA) was successfully held in Xi’an. The event was hosted by SIMEPA and jointly organized by Xi’an Third Hospital and the Neurointervention Committee. Centered on the theme “Application of New Neurointerventional Technologies and Clinical Practice Innovation,” the conference brought together leading experts and scholars from across the province and beyond. Through keynote lectures, case presentations, and interactive discussions, the event created a high-level platform for academic exchange. The opening ceremony was chaired by Prof. Zhang, Ru from the Second Affiliated Hospital of Xi’an Jiaotong University, with welcome remarks delivered by Prof. Chang, Mingze, Chair of the Neurointervention Committee and representative of Xi’an Third Hospital.

The academic sessions provided in-depth analysis and discussion on the application of new neurointerventional technologies and recent research progress, offering valuable insights for clinical practice. Experts also engaged in extensive discussions on complex cases involving typical complications and diagnostic–therapeutic challenges, forming a series of clinical consensus points characterized by strong practical guidance and operability. The entire conference maintained a rich academic atmosphere with active interaction, effectively promoting the dissemination of advanced technologies and the exchange of innovative ideas.

As the province’s major annual event in the field of neurointervention, the conference facilitated integration and sharing of academic resources, promoted the standardized and innovative application of neurointerventional techniques, and established a solid foundation for improving the diagnosis and treatment of cerebrovascular diseases in the region. Looking ahead, the Committee will continue to serve as a bridge and platform, building more high-quality academic opportunities to advance the discipline’s high-quality development and safeguard the neurological health of the public.
