SIMEPA Pediatric Endocrinology, Genetics and Metabolism Committee Outreach Program Successfully Held in Baoji

On June 27, 2026, the Baoji Outreach Program organized by the Pediatric Endocrinology, Genetics and Metabolism Committee of the Shaanxi International Medical Exchange Promotion Association (SIMEPA) was successfully held in Baoji. The event was organized by SIMEPA and jointly hosted by the Pediatric Endocrinology, Genetics and Metabolism Committee of SIMEPA, the Pediatric Branch of the Baoji Medical Association, and the Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine Pediatrics Committee of the Baoji Medical Doctors Association. The program was attended by pediatric specialists from across Shaanxi Province, Committee members, and pediatricians, child healthcare physicians, and nursing professionals from medical institutions throughout Baoji and its surrounding counties and districts.

The program was designed to address the practical needs of primary pediatric healthcare in Baoji, focusing on common and challenging clinical issues in child growth and development, pediatric respiratory diseases, and neurodevelopmental disorders. The event provided a valuable platform for direct communication between provincial experts and frontline healthcare professionals, facilitating the exchange of clinical experience and the dissemination of current best practices.

The Pediatric Endocrinology, Genetics and Metabolism Committee of SIMEPA will continue to organize a series of regular Pediatric Outreach Programs to extend high-quality pediatric medical resources to municipal and county-level healthcare institutions across Shaanxi Province. By establishing a sustainable collaborative network linking provincial, municipal, and county healthcare providers, the Committee aims to promote standardized diagnosis and treatment of common pediatric endocrine, neurological, and respiratory diseases, strengthen primary pediatric healthcare capacity, and support the healthy growth and development of children throughout the province.
