The 6th Western International Healthcare Quality and Patient Safety Management Forum Successfully Held in Xi'an

On September 24th, sponsored by the Shaanxi International Medical Exchange Promotion Association, and co-organized by the Shaanxi Provincial People's Hospital, the Shaanxi Provincial Science and Technology Exchange Center, and the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Hospital Cooperation Alliance, the "6th Western International Healthcare Quality and Patient Safety Management Forum" was held at the Shaanxi Provincial People's Hospital. The conference was chaired by Honorary Dean Jiao Fuyong of the Children's Hospital of Shaanxi Provincial People's Hospital.

Secretary-General Wang, Meng of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Hospital Cooperation Alliance, Deputy Director Feng, Juanxia of the Shaanxi Provincial Science and Technology Exchange Center, Secretary-General Wang, Ning of the Shaanxi International Medical Exchange Promotion Association, and Vice President Duan, Jianglong of Shaanxi Provincial People's Hospital attended and delivered speeches. Foreign experts such as Jan Hovorka, Chairman of the Czech European Traditional Chinese Medicine Center, Aleksey Gusev, Deputy Director of the FSAI Pediatric Surgery Institute in Russia, and Karaman Pagava, Professor at Tbilisi State Medical University in Georgia, were invited to China to attend the conference and give lectures as invited by the Shaanxi Provincial People's Hospital National Demonstration Base for Attracting Intelligence and Talent. Additionally, experts such as Tungalag Osgonbaatar, Chairman of the Mongolian Pediatric Research Association, Karim Hamed Ali Elakabawi, Professor at Benha University Hospital in Egypt, Jay N Shah, Professor at Patan Academy of Health Sciences in Kathmandu, Nepal, and Senthil Arun Kumar, Professor at Parul Institute of Engineering and Technology, Parul University in Vadodara, Gujarat, India, participated online and gave lectures. Vice President Duan Jianglong of Shaanxi Provincial People's Hospital National Demonstration Base for Attracting Intelligence and Talent presented the "Special Appointment of Foreign Experts at Shaanxi Provincial People's Hospital National Demonstration Base for Attracting Intelligence and Talent" to the experts who came to China. Secretary-General Wang, Ning of the Shaanxi International Medical Exchange Promotion Association presented the "International Consultant" appointment to the experts who came to China. Professor Aleksey Gusev of Russia presented Vice Chairman Jiao, Fuyong with an honorary professor certificate from the Russian Federal National Center for Children's Health, marking the first time the center has awarded this certificate to a foreign expert.

The forum, themed "Enhancing Abilities, Promoting Balance, and Seeking Steady Progress," mainly focused on issues related to healthcare quality, community healthcare, medical safety, pediatric healthcare, etc. Nearly tens of thousands of people watched the forum online and offline. Medical administrators from different hospitals in the province participated online in this conference. This conference will absorb and transform current international advanced medical management concepts, apply them to China's medical management, absorb international advanced management models to contribute to the development of China's medical industry, and continuously deepen cooperation with medical fields in Egypt, Russia, Czech Republic, Georgia, India, Nepal, Mongolia, and other friendly countries through offline and online combined methods to promote the transformation of the "community of shared future for mankind" from concept to action and from vision to reality, which has been highly praised by the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Hospital Cooperation Alliance, Shaanxi Provincial Science and Technology Exchange Center, and others.
