On June 10, 2023, the "Anti-Epilepsy Journey - Case Showcase (Xi'an Station)" hosted by the Shaanxi International Medical Exchange Promotion Association was successfully held at the JinHuaHaoSheng Hotel in Xi'an. The conference featured academic speeches by several renowned experts and scholars in the field, with an attendance of 60 participants.

The conference began with an opening address by Professor Huang, Shaoping from the Second Affiliated Hospital of Xi'an Jiaotong University. The first speaker was Professor Sun, Yan from the Xinjiang Children's Hospital, who presented on "Interpretation of Real-World Studies of Vigabatrin." The lecture session was moderated by Professor Huang, Shaoping. Next, Professor He, Lei from the Xinjiang Children's Hospital shared a case study titled "Diagnosis and Treatment of SCN2A Gene Mutation-Related Epilepsy with Onset in the Neonatal Period." The second case presenter was Teacher Wu ,Yan from the Children's Hospital of Xi'an City, who shared a case study titled "Case Study of Intractable Epilepsy in Children." Following that, Teacher Lan, Mingping from the Chengdu Women and Children's Hospital shared insights on the "Diagnosis and Treatment Experience of Epilepsy Associated with 16p11.2 Deletion." The final case presenter was Teacher Sun, Na from the Second Affiliated Hospital of Xi'an Jiaotong University, who presented on the "Diagnosis and Treatment Process of a Child with Failed Drug Reduction."

After the engaging presentations of one topic and four case studies, the experts engaged in intense discussions. Professor Hu Wenguang from the Chengdu Women and Children's Center Hospital was the first to provide comments. The second commentator was Professor Wu, Ju from the renowned West China Second University Hospital, specializing in pediatric neurology. The third commentator was Director Liu, Xiaohong from the First Affiliated Hospital of Xi'an Jiaotong University, who provided detailed feedback on the four cases, leading to lively discussions. The fourth commentator was Director Yang, Xinwei from the Children's Department of the West Beijing Hospital, who provided detailed feedback on the cases presented by Sun, Na and Lan, Mingping, leading to enthusiastic discussions. The fifth commentator was Director Jiang, Xun from the Children's Department of the Tangdu Hospital, who provided detailed feedback on the cases presented by He, Lei and Lan Mingping, leading to enthusiastic discussions. Following this, Professor Guo, Xiangyang from the Children's Department of the Shaanxi Provincial People's Hospital expressed his views, and Director Guo, Yanzhao from the Xi'an Traditional Brain Disease Hospital also shared his unique perspectives. Finally, Professor Hu, Chunwei from the Baoji Maternal and Child Health Hospital provided his comments.

The conference was concluded by Professor Wang, Dong from the Children's Hospital of Xi'an City. This conference brought a fresh perspective to medical professionals in the field of epilepsy, further promoting the correct clinical use of the new drug Lacosamide and relevant content related to epilepsy surgery.
