The 7th Phase of “Daxing Jingshu, 'The Talk of Future of Gastrointestinal' Academic Salon and SXIMEA Tumor Nutrition Professional Committee Annual Meeting was Successfully Held in Xi'an

On March 16, 2024, the 7th “Daxing Jingshu, 'The Talk of Future of Gastrointestinal' Academic Salon and the Annual Meeting of the SXIMEA Tumor Nutrition Professional Committee were successfully held in Xi'an. The event was hosted by the Shaanxi International Medical Exchange Promotion Association, the SXIMEA Tumor Nutrition Committee, and the Gastrointestinal Surgery Department of Xi'an Daxing Hospital.

The meeting combined "academic lectures and surgical demonstrations" and brought together industry experts to discuss and learn about topics such as departmental planning and development, the latest advancements in laparoscopic treatment for gastrointestinal tumors, and hot medical issues. The goal was to promote the development of minimally invasive surgery and standardized diagnosis and treatment of gastrointestinal tumors in our province. The conference featured special lectures and surgical demonstrations from Professor Huang Changming of Fujian Medical University Affiliated Union Hospital, Professor Du, Jianjun of Fudan University Affiliated Huashan Hospital, and numerous other experts from within and outside the province.

The conference not only broadened the academic horizons of the attendees but also provided a vivid textbook on laparoscopic techniques and standardized treatment practices for gastrointestinal tumors. Additionally, it injected new vitality into the development of tumor nutrition.
