Successful Exchange and Seminar on the New ISO15189 Accreditation Standards Held

On April 19, the ISO15189 New Accreditation Standards Exchange Seminar was successfully held in Xi'an. The event was organized by the Shaanxi International Medical Exchange Promotion Association and co-hosted by the First Affiliated Hospital of Xi'an Jiaotong University and the Clinical Laboratory Professional Committee of the Shaanxi International Medical Exchange Promotion Association.

The seminar began with a warm introduction by Professor Wang, Xiaoqin, Chair of the Clinical Laboratory Professional Committee and Director of the Laboratory Department at the First Affiliated Hospital of Xi'an Jiaotong University. She welcomed and thanked the distinguished experts and participants, expressing her hope that the conference would provide a platform for in-depth communication and mutual learning, and promote the successful implementation of the new ISO15189 standards in laboratories, contributing to the high-quality development of medical laboratories in the Northwest region.

The seminar featured academic reports from several renowned experts, including Professor Xiao, Luyan from Beijing Hospital, Professor David Ricketts from the UK, Professor Feng, Zhenru from the First Hospital of Peking University, Professor Zhang, Ning from the First Affiliated Hospital of Xi'an Jiaotong University, Professor Wang, Lixin from the General Hospital of Ningxia Medical University, and Professor Zhao, Wei, a CNAS accreditation reviewer. The attendees actively engaged in discussions, posing questions on core and cutting-edge issues related to the new standards. The experts responded with patience and provided theoretical explanations and solutions.
