On October 26, the inaugural meeting of the Liver Tumor Precision Treatment Committee of the Shaanxi International Medical Exchange Promotion Association and the Multidisciplinary Diagnosis, Treatment, and Nursing Seminar on Liver Tumors, hosted by the Shaanxi International Medical Exchange Promotion Association and organized by the Shaanxi Provincial People's Hospital, was successfully held in Xi'an. The event was attended by Chen, Zhao, President of the Shaanxi International Medical Exchange Promotion Association; Song, Zhangjun, President of the Shaanxi Provincial People's Hospital; as well as experts and scholars from over 40 medical institutions nationwide, including Peking University Cancer Hospital, Beijing Tsinghua Changgung Hospital, the First Affiliated Hospital of the Army Medical University, Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Nursing, the Shaanxi Provincial People's Hospital, the First and Second Affiliated Hospitals of Xi'an Jiao Tong University, Xijing Hospital, and Tangdu Hospital. In total, over 170 in-person attendees from across various cities and counties in the province were present, and the event’s online livestream attracted a cumulative audience of 9,136.

During the founding ceremony, the Shaanxi International Medical Exchange Promotion Association officially established the Liver Tumor Precision Treatment Committee and presented appointment letters for Chair, Vice Chairs, Secretary-General, and Deputy Secretary-General.

In his inaugural speech, Committee Chair Zhang, Yu expressed his commitment to fulfilling his responsibilities, aiming to advance the field of liver tumor precision treatment. He emphasized the importance of collaboration with experts domestically and internationally and the role of the committee in cultivating talent through training programs and academic conferences. Zhang Yu also highlighted the need for implementing precision treatment techniques in clinical practice, conducting multicenter studies on liver tumors, and providing innovative approaches and scientific support for precision treatment. He encouraged all committee members to work together to advance liver tumor precision treatment.

In the academic session, numerous medical experts gathered to discuss treatment advancements for liver injury caused by anti-tumor drugs and new strategies for interventional and systemic treatment of advanced liver cancer. They shared insights on service model innovations, clinical technique advancements, accelerated recovery guidelines, and clinical practices, providing new perspectives in the fields of liver tumor treatment, nursing, and rehabilitation.

The "Inaugural Meeting of the Liver Tumor Precision Treatment Committee and Multidisciplinary Diagnosis, Treatment, and Nursing Seminar on Liver Tumors" was carefully planned, comprehensive, and diverse in content, blending online and in-person formats to create a platform for academic exchange and discussion. This event promoted progress in liver tumor precision treatment and multidisciplinary care in Shaanxi Province.
