Shaanxi International Medical Exchange Promotion Association Successfully Holds the 2nd Academic Annual Meeting of the Neurology Committee and the 2nd Shaanxi Province Neurology Knowledge and Skills Competition

On June 29, 2024, the 2nd Academic Annual Meeting of the Neurology Committee and the 2nd Shaanxi Province Neurology Knowledge and Skills Competition, hosted by the Shaanxi International Medical Exchange Promotion Association and organized by the Second Affiliated Hospital of Xi'an Jiaotong University, was successfully held in Xi'an.

The academic meeting featured experts from Shanghai Jiao Tong University Affiliated Renji Hospital, Capital Medical University Affiliated Hospital, Air Force Military Medical University Tangdu Hospital, Fudan University Affiliated Zhongshan Hospital, Fujian Medical University Affiliated Union Hospital, Xi'an Third Hospital, and Xi'an Medical University First Affiliated Hospital. They shared the latest advancements in various subfields of neurology and provided in-depth explanations of key issues related to common neurological diseases, receiving widespread acclaim from peers in the neurology field. The meeting attracted hundreds of neurology professionals from across the province and beyond, significantly enhancing the level of neurological disease diagnosis and treatment and the influence of the neurology discipline in the region.

In the afternoon of June 29, the 2nd Shaanxi Province Neurology Knowledge and Skills Competition took place. The competition saw participation from 31 medical teams from within the province. The teams competed vigorously, and the judges provided detailed feedback. The competition offered an excellent platform for young neurology physicians in Shaanxi Province to showcase their skills. After intense competition, the championship was awarded to the Shangluo City Central Hospital. The runner-up titles went to Xi'an Central Hospital and the First Affiliated Hospital of Xi'an Jiaotong University, while the third place was secured by Xi'an International Medical Center Hospital, the Second Affiliated Hospital of Air Force Military Medical University, and the Second Affiliated Hospital of Xi'an Jiaotong University.
