From January 6 to 10, 2025, Professor Jiao Fuyong, Honorary President of the Shaanxi International Medical Exchange Promotion Association, was invited to attend an international medical conference in Dubai, the capital of the United Arab Emirates. The invitation came from Professor Dr. Ahmed Almousa, CEO for the Middle East and Africa region of Berlin Hailinson Hospital, Germany. During the opening ceremony, Professor Jiao delivered a welcome address.

The conference featured presentations by medical experts from Germany, India, Nepal, and other countries, fostering vibrant academic exchanges and interactive discussions. Attendees shared the latest developments in clinical practices and medical research from their respective countries.

During the conference, on behalf of the Association, Professor Jiao signed a cooperation agreement with Dr. Ahmed Almousa of Berlin Hailinson Hospital. The agreement outlines future collaboration based on the principles of mutual benefit, complementary strengths, and friendly cooperation. Key areas of collaboration include medical education, talent development, professional training, faculty and student exchanges, and joint research projects. The partnership aims to contribute meaningfully to the advancement of medical development, cultural exchange, and people-to-people connectivity between China and Germany.

In addition, Professor Jiao was invited to visit several leading medical institutions, clinical partners, and outpatient centers in Dubai. He gained firsthand insights into Dubai’s advanced medical technologies and rigorous quality management systems. He also engaged in in-depth discussions on expanding China–Arab cooperation in clinical research, expert exchanges, medical training, and capacity building.
