“CNIE” 2025 Member Representative Conference and “Going Global” Capacity-Building Training Held in Beijing, Shaanxi International Medical Exchange Promotion Association Awarded as a New Group Member

From July 15 to 17, 2025, the 2025 Member Representative Conference and the 5th Meeting of the 3rd Council of the China NGO Network for International Exchanges (CNIE) were grandly held in Beijing. The conference reviewed and summarized the 20-year history of CNIE, especially its development and valuable experiences in the new era. At the meeting, new president, new secretary-general, and new legal representative were elected, the structure of council members and group members was adjusted, and four specialized committees were established: Public Welfare and Charity, Health, Cultural Exchange, and Humanitarian Assistance.

During the conference, after rigorous review and voting, the Shaanxi International Medical Exchange Promotion Association was approved as a new group member. This not only represents high recognition of the Association’s past work, but also provides a broad platform for its future development in international exchange and cooperation. Taking this as an opportunity, the Shaanxi International Medical Exchange Promotion Association will further promote international exchanges and cooperation in Shaanxi’s medical field, improve medical service standards, and contribute to the construction of Healthy China.

After the conclusion of the Member Representative Conference, CNIE immediately organized a two-day “Going Global” Capacity-Building Training Program for new group members. Experts and scholars from the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Civil Affairs, CNIE, and China Foreign Affairs University were invited to give lectures. The training covered comprehensive and substantial content. Through systematic learning, member organizations further strengthened their understanding of international rules, accumulating theoretical knowledge and practical guidance for “going global.”
