Shaanxi International Medical Exchange Promotion Association Successfully Held the 2025 Symposium on New Advances in Minimally Invasive Urology

On July 19, 2025, the 2025 Symposium on New Advances in Minimally Invasive Urological Diagnosis and Treatment, hosted by the Shaanxi International Medical Exchange Promotion Association and organized by the Committee of Minimally Invasive Urology of the Association, was grandly held in the ancient city of Xi’an. Experts and scholars in the fields of urology and andrology from Shaanxi, Henan, Hubei, Shanxi, Gansu, Ningxia, Qinghai, Xinjiang, and other regions gathered together to discuss cutting-edge progress in minimally invasive urological technology and new strategies of integrating traditional Chinese and Western medicine in the treatment of prostate diseases.

Experts shared the latest insights on individualized treatment strategies for elderly patients and the management of nocturia, as well as the unique advantages of traditional Chinese medicine in treating prostate diseases. In-depth discussions were carried out around three main topics: “nocturia in elderly men,” “prostate cancer diagnosis and treatment,” and “management of chronic prostatitis.” Two significant clinical research achievements on the treatment of chronic prostatitis with traditional Chinese medicine were officially released, providing high-quality evidence-based medical support for its application in this field. The academic sessions were full of highlights, where cutting-edge surgical concepts, analysis of complex cases, and evidence-based findings intertwined and collided, fully demonstrating China’s profound accumulation and innovative vitality in this area.

The successful convening of this symposium not only built a high-standard, high-level academic exchange platform and promoted in-depth cross-regional expert collaboration, but also injected new momentum into the development of minimally invasive urological technology and the scientific application of traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of prostate diseases through the release of high-quality clinical research results, contributing wisdom and practical solutions to safeguarding men’s urological health.
