Successfully Held: Shaanxi International Medical Exchange Promotion Association (SXIMEA) 2023 Breast Cancer Standardization Lecture Series Symposium (Second Phase)

On February 10, 2023, the "2023 AI in Four Seasons - Breast Cancer Standardization Lecture Series Symposium (Second Phase)" hosted by the SXIMEA was successfully held online. This conference was co-chaired by Professor Jiliang Zhang from the First Affiliated Hospital of the Air Force Medical University (Xijing Hospital) and Professor Songqing Ye from the Fujian Provincial Hospital, with more than 360 medical personnel from the province participating in the online learning.

The conference began with opening remarks by Professor Jiliang Zhang from the First Affiliated Hospital of the Air Force Medical University (Xijing Hospital) and Professor Songqing Ye from the Fujian Provincial Hospital, who served as the conference chairs. The academic session was co-chaired by Professors Jiliang Zhang and Songqing Ye.

First, Professor Haitao Guan from the Second Affiliated Hospital Of Xi'an Jiao Tong University (Xibei Hospital) shared his insights on the "Progress of HR+ Advanced Breast Cancer Treatment." This was followed by a discussion led by Professor Li Su from the People's Hospital of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region and Professor Jingru Yang from the First Hospital of Lanzhou University on the shared content.

The second academic presentation was given by Professor Wei Wang from the Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital of Xinjiang Uygur Municipal, who spoke on the topic of "Breast Cancer Diagnosis and Treatment Guidelines." Following this, Professor Ting Xu from the Xi’an No.4 Hospital and Professor Weihua Shi from the First People’s Hospital of Yinchuan led a discussion on the subject.  

The third guest speaker was Professor Jing Fan from the First Affiliated Hospital of the Air Force Medical University (Xijing Hospital, who shared on the topic of "The Role of ctDNA Detection in Breast Cancer Treatment." After the presentation, Professor Zhiping Deng from the Shaanxi Provincial Cancer Hospital led a discussion on the topic.

The last guest speaker was Professor Can Zhou from the First Affiliated Hospital of Xi'an Jiao Tong University, who shared his experiences on the topic of "Cold Knife Subpectoral Prosthesis Reconstruction." Following this, Professors Shujia Peng from the Tangdu Hospital and Yan Diao from the Second Affiliated Hospital of Xi'an Jiao Tong University (Xibei Hospital) led a discussion on the subject.

At the end of the conference, the two chairs provided a summary of the conference content, respectively.

This conference invited several well-known domestic experts and scholars in the field to discuss and exchange ideas through online lectures, sharing difficult cases, and other forms of discussion. The conference focused on the most challenging and hot issues related to the standardization of pathological diagnosis and detection evaluation in breast clinical and pathological settings, promoting the standardization of breast cancer pathological diagnosis and treatment in our province and laying a solid foundation for the rational application of precision medicine in breast cancer treatment.
