Shaanxi medical experts went to Tajikistan for exchanges and conducted free medical consultations.

In order to implement the consensus of the first China-Central Asia Heads of State Summit and respond to the spirit of the Third Belt and Road International Cooperation Summit Forum, a delegation of medical experts from Shaanxi International Medical Exchange Promotion Association will travel to Tajikistan on January 22nd. This visit is in response to an invitation from the Belt and Road International Medical Cooperation Center to promote health cooperation between China and Tajikistan and facilitate the smooth implementation of the "Belt and Road Tajikistan-China Friendship Hospital" specialized assistance project. The delegation will conduct exchange activities and provide free medical consultations. This initiative is in line with the arrangements of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Hospital Cooperation Alliance.

 

The visiting delegation consists of experts from the Shaanxi International Medical Exchange Promotion Association, the First Affiliated Hospital of Xi'an Jiaotong University, Xi'an Jiaotong University Stomatological Hospital, Affiliated Hospital of Shaanxi University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Second Affiliated Hospital of Shaanxi University of Chinese Medicine, and Xi'an TCM Hospital of Encephalopathy. During the research visit, special arrangements have been made for experts in traditional Chinese medicine acupuncture and massage, as well as medical experts, to conduct a one-day "Traditional Chinese Medicine and Traditional Medicine Diagnosis and Treatment Free Clinic" activity. This clinic will provide free diagnosis and treatment for people of all walks of life in Tajikistan, local residents, staff of the Chinese Embassy in Tajikistan, Chinese-funded enterprises, overseas Chinese, and others. Additionally, Shaanxi Buchar Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. and Shaanxi Hanwang Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. will donate high-quality traditional Chinese medicines to Tajikistan.

 

Expert Introduction

Jiao Fuyong, a fellow of the European Academy of Natural Sciences, honorary professor at the National Children's Medical Center of the Russian Ministry of Health, chairman of the China side of the European Traditional Chinese Medicine Center (Czech Republic), editor-in-chief of the International Journal of Pediatrics (Georgia), director of the International Exchange Center of the Hospital Cooperation Alliance of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, and vice chairman of the Shaanxi International Medical Exchange Promotion Association. He has been engaged in pediatric clinical work for nearly 50 years. He is also an expert reviewer for the Ministry of Education's doctoral and master's degree centers, a master's supervisor at the School of Life Sciences of Northwest University, and a former master's supervisor at the School of Medicine of Xi'an Jiaotong University. Additionally, he is the founder of the Pediatric Diagnosis and Treatment Research Center of Shaanxi Province and the Kawasaki Disease Diagnosis and Treatment Center of Shaanxi Province. He was awarded the government subsidy by the State Council in 1992.

Yan, Yongmei, a second-level professor, chief physician, recipient of special government allowances, doctoral supervisor, and Qihuang scholar. She serves as the president of the Affiliated Hospital of Brain Diseases at Shaanxi University of Chinese Medicine. She is a leading figure in the national key discipline of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) administered by the National Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine, as well as the head of national clinical key specialties and national advantageous TCM specialties. She is recognized as one of the sixth batch of national senior TCM inheritors, a distinguished TCM practitioner in Shaanxi Province, a distinguished teaching professor at higher education institutions in Shaanxi Province, and a "Sanqin Scholar" specially appointed professor in Shaanxi Province. She also holds the position of vice president of the Neurological Diseases Branch of the Chinese Society of Ethnic Medicine and a standing committee member of the Professional Committee of Neurological Diseases of the Chinese Association of Traditional Chinese Medicine.

 

She has been engaged in clinical, teaching, and research work in the field of neurological diseases for a long time, specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of common neurological diseases such as stroke, insomnia, anxiety and depression, headache, dizziness, Parkinson's disease and syndrome, dementia, etc. She has published a total of 112 academic papers, including 8 SCI papers, and obtained 3 authorized patents. Zhu, Zhenni, chief physician, Bachelor of Medicine, Deputy Director of the Department of Gynecology at the Second Affiliated Hospital of Shaanxi University of Chinese Medicine. With nearly 20 years of clinical experience in gynecology, he has accumulated rich experience in the diagnosis, comprehensive treatment, and laparoscopic surgery of gynecological diseases. With 27 years of experience in clinical, teaching, and research work in the diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation of children's early development, high-risk children, cerebral palsy, hydrocephalus, epilepsy, mental retardation, autism, ADHD, genetic metabolic disorders, and motor unit diseases using both traditional Chinese and Western medicine. He has visited Russia, Sweden, France, Italy, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, and other countries for academic exchanges in medicine.
