The First Academic Meeting of the Neuroimmunology Professional Committee and the Launch of the Shaanxi Inflammatory Demyelinating Disease Alliance Successfully Held

On April 27, 2024, the First Academic Meeting of the Neuroimmunology Professional Committee and the launch of the Shaanxi Neuroinflammatory Demyelinating Disease Alliance were successfully held in Xi'an. The event was organized by the Shaanxi International Medical Exchange Promotion Association and hosted by the Tangdu Hospital of the Air Force Military Medical University.

Experts from top institutions including Beijing Tiantan Hospital, Xuanwu Hospital of Capital Medical University, Ruijin Hospital of Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine, Renji Hospital of Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine, Tongji Hospital of Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Tianjin Medical University General Hospital, First Affiliated Hospital of Chongqing Medical University, and Guangzhou First People's Hospital delivered academic presentations. Experts from the Xijing Hospital and Tangdu Hospital of the Air Force Military Medical University, the First Affiliated Hospital of Xi'an Jiaotong University, the Second Affiliated Hospital of Xi'an Jiaotong University, Shaanxi Provincial People's Hospital, Xi'an Central Hospital, and the School of Life Sciences at Shaanxi Normal University also contributed to the discussions. Over 100 scholars from more than 30 relevant institutions across Shaanxi province attended the meeting.

During the conference, Guo, Jun, Deputy Director of the Neurology Department at Tangdu Hospital, was elected as the Chair of the Neuroimmunology Professional Committee. Li, Zhuyi and Li, Hongzeng, Professors from the Neurology Department at Tangdu Hospital, were appointed as Honorary Chairs.
