The 7th Academic Seminar and 2024 Annual Conference of the Pathology Professional Committee of Shaanxi International Medical Exchange Promotion Association Successfully Held

On April 27, 2024, the 7th Academic Seminar and 2024 Annual Conference of the Pathology Professional Committee of the Shaanxi International Medical Exchange Promotion Association was successfully held in Xi'an. The event was organized by the Shaanxi International Medical Exchange Promotion Association and hosted by the Department of Pathology at the Affiliated Hospital of Yan'an University, Xi'an Daxing Hospital.

The theme of the 7th academic conference was "International Frontiers in Pathology." Experts from prestigious institutions, including Amy Chadburn from Weill Cornell Medical College, Zhang, Xiaohui from the University of South Florida, Zhang, Xinhai from McGovern Medical School, Guo, Huazhang from Saint Louis University, Li, Zengsheng from Xijing Hospital, Yan, Qingguo from Northwest University, and Qi, Debo from KingMed Diagnostics, delivered detailed and engaging presentations on the latest international advancements in pathology. The conference provided a rich and exciting academic experience. The sessions were chaired by professors Wang, Zhe from the Air Force Military Medical University’s Xijing Hospital, Chen, Guangsheng from Xi'an Children's Hospital, Wang, Juanhong from the Third Affiliated Hospital of Northwest University, and Associate Chief Physician Zhu, Jin from the Affiliated Hospital of Yan'an University, Xi'an Daxing Hospital. Attendees expressed high interest in the lectures, finding them beneficial in understanding international advancements, diagnostic criteria, challenges, and clinical-pathological connections. The conference saw enthusiastic participation, with approximately 3,200 online viewers.

Following the seminar, the Pathology Professional Committee held a standing committee meeting, chaired by Secretary Zhu, Jin. Chairperson Guo, Ying summarized the committee's achievements from 2023 to 2024 and discussed the preparations for the academic annual meeting. Secretary Zhu Jin outlined the plans for academic activities for 2024-2025.

The Pathology Professional Committee of the Shaanxi International Medical Exchange Promotion Association will continue to promote new international diagnostic concepts in pathology, strengthen international exchanges and collaborations, and work diligently to create more platforms for communication, contributing further to the advancement of the pathology field.
