The First Academic Meeting of the Sports Medicine Nursing Committee of the Shaanxi Medical Promotion Association Successfully Held

On the afternoon of May 17, 2024, the first academic meeting of the Sports Medicine Nursing Committee of the Shaanxi Medical Promotion Association, hosted by the Shaanxi Medical Promotion Association and organized by the Honghui Hospital of Xi'an, was successfully held at the North Campus of Honghui Hospital in Xi'an.

Experts from the Air Force Military Medical University, Xijing Hospital of the Air Force Military Medical University, the First Affiliated Hospital of Xi'an Jiaotong University, the Second Affiliated Hospital of Xi'an Jiaotong University, and Honghui Hospital of Xi'an shared reports on clinical skills and research in sports medicine nursing. The content was rich and practical, providing valuable insights into the key aspects of sports medicine nursing and the preparation of research task books. The discussions served as a reference for future nursing activities in various specialties. Over 100 nursing experts and scholars from medical institutions across the province attended the meeting both in person and online.

At the meeting, Jie, Ping, Head Nurse of the Sports Medicine Diagnosis and Treatment Center at Honghui Hospital of Xi'an, was elected as the Chairperson. Hu, Jing, Director of the Nursing Department at Honghui Hospital of Xi'an, was appointed as the Honorary Chairperson. Ten experts from institutions including Xijing Hospital of the Air Force Military Medical University, the First Affiliated Hospital of Xi'an Jiaotong University, Tangdu Hospital of the Air Force Military Medical University, Yan'an University Affiliated Hospital, Xi'an Central Hospital, and others were elected as Vice Chairpersons.

Chairperson Jie, Ping outlined the future work priorities of the committee. Hu, Jing, Director of the Nursing Department at Honghui Hospital of Xi'an, Deputy Director Song, Xiaobin, and Shaanxi Medical Promotion Association President Chen, Zhao delivered speeches and provided specific requirements. They expressed hopes that the committee would play a leading role with provincial experts and contribute to the high-quality development of the province's healthcare system.
