The 8th Huaxia Diabetes Diagnosis and Health Management Academic Exchange Conference Successfully Held in Xi'an

To advance clinical research on diabetes and related diseases, the 8th Huaxia Diabetes Diagnosis and Health Management Academic Exchange Conference was held successfully in Xi'an, the ancient capital, from May 18 to 19, 2024. The event was organized by the China Geriatric Health Association and the Shaanxi Medical Promotion Association, with the Endocrinology and Diabetes Department of Shaanxi Provincial People's Hospital as the host. Over 200 physicians from across the country in the field of endocrinology and metabolic diseases attended the conference.

The conference featured lectures and academic discussions by several renowned experts and professors from Beijing Union Medical College Hospital, the PLA General Hospital, Sichuan Huaxi Hospital, and other leading institutions. Experts from Shaanxi Provincial People's Hospital and other local specialists also participated in the presentations and discussions. The academic content covered a wide range of topics, including new diagnostics and treatments for special types of diabetes, recent advances in diabetic nephropathy treatment, digital therapies for gestational diabetes, and new insights into diabetes and Alzheimer's disease.
