2024 Electronic Fetal Heart Monitoring Practical Training Camp Successfully Held by Shaanxi Medical Promotion Association

From May 18-19, the “2024 Electronic Fetal Heart Monitoring Training Camp” academic seminar was successfully held at Xi’an Angel Women’s and Children’s Hospital. Hosted by the Shaanxi Medical Promotion Association and organized by the Shaanxi Medical Promotion Association’s Obstetrics and Gynecology Committee and Xi’an Angel Women’s and Children’s Hospital, the event featured over 20 renowned experts from both inside and outside the province. The training included standardized instruction on graphic analysis and clinical management, providing hands-on teaching from beginner to advanced levels in electronic fetal heart monitoring. The seminar combined theoretical knowledge with practical case analyses, aiming to enhance the professional skills of obstetricians and midwives. The event attracted over a hundred clinical medical workers from various healthcare institutions in the province.

Through this training camp, obstetricians and midwives from medical institutions across Shaanxi were effectively helped to master the latest knowledge and skills in fetal heart monitoring. This improvement in clinical interpretation and operational abilities will enhance intrauterine fetal assessment and monitoring in obstetric practice, improve perinatal emergency treatment capabilities, ensure maternal and infant health, reduce perinatal mortality, and decrease perinatal care safety risks. The camp aims to improve the quality and level of perinatal care in the province, support the Shaanxi Medical Promotion Association’s “Belt and Road” initiative, and lay a solid foundation for international health and science and technology exchange and sharing.
