Honorary President Jiao, Fuyong Attends International Science and Technology Innovation Conference in Turkmenistan

From June 12 to 13, 2024, Shaanxi Medical Promotion Association Honorary President Jiao, Fuyong was invited to attend the International Science and Technology Innovation Conference in Turkmenistan and was received by the Turkmenistan Vice President. The conference saw participation from over 200 representatives from more than 20 countries, including Russia, Hungary, Belarus, Japan, Bulgaria, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, and Uzbekistan.

The theme of the conference was "Science, Technology, and Innovation in the Era of National Rejuvenation," covering six major fields: nanotechnology, chemical technology, new materials research, and electrical engineering; biotechnology, molecular biology, agriculture, ecology, and genetics; information and communication systems, computer technology; contemporary medicine and drug production technology; innovative economy; and humanities.

Professor Jiao, Fuyong attended the opening ceremony on the morning of June 12 and delivered a speech. On the afternoon of June 12, he participated in the fourth sub-forum on "Contemporary Medicine and Drug Production Technology," where he gave a keynote speech on "Diagnosis and Treatment of Kawasaki Disease." He also presented English editions of the “International Journal of Pediatrics” and the “International Journal of Pediatric Cardiology”, co-edited with Georgian pediatric professors, along with the Chinese edition of “Prevention and Treatment of Pediatric Kawasaki Disease and Family Care” (published by World Book Publishing Company) to the Turkmenistan State Medical University, which was well-received by international peers.

Additionally, Professor Jiao was invited to visit the Turkmenistan National Cardiovascular Center, where he and the medical staff discussed and exchanged views on the diagnosis and treatment of complex cases such as lupus.
