Shaanxi International Medical Exchange Promotion Association's TCM Experts Visit Tajikistan

From June 29 to July 1, 2024, a delegation of five Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) experts from Beijing University of Chinese Medicine's Sun Simiao Hospital (Tongchuan TCM Hospital) visited Tajikistan. The visit was organized by the Shaanxi International Medical Exchange Promotion Association.

During their visit, the delegation toured several key locations, including the China-Tajikistan Medical Diagnosis and Treatment Center, the Tajikistan Traditional Medicine Center (China-Tajikistan TCM Center), the Belt and Road International Medical Cooperation Center’s Tajikistan representative office, and the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Hospital Cooperation Alliance’s Tajikistan office. They focused on understanding thyroid disease prevention and treatment and engaged in in-depth discussions on specialist cooperation in this field.

The TCM experts also provided high-quality medical consultations, traditional medicine services, and educational activities for embassy staff, Chinese enterprises, overseas Chinese, and local residents at the Tajikistan Health and Social Security Department’s diagnostic department (Belt and Road Tajik-China Friendship Hospital).
