Successful Completion of the Shaanxi International Medical Exchange Promotion Association's Blood Transfusion Medicine Committee Restructuring Conference and the 4th Academic Meeting

 

On July 26, 2024, the "Shaanxi International Medical Exchange Promotion Association's Blood Transfusion Medicine Committee Restructuring Conference and the 4th Academic Meeting" was successfully held in Xi’an. The event was hosted by the Shaanxi International Medical Exchange Promotion Association and organized by the Xi’an International Medical Center Hospital. Approximately 100 experts and scholars from various municipal and county medical institutions and blood stations in the province attended.

During the conference, the Shaanxi International Medical Exchange Promotion Association awarded Bai, Yanli, Director of the Blood Transfusion Department at Xi’an International Medical Center Hospital, with the appointment as the Committee Chair. In her acceptance speech, Director Bai expressed her honor and the significant responsibilities of the role. She pledged to utilize the platform provided by the association to actively engage in blood transfusion academic exchanges, grassroots training, and voluntary blood donation public welfare activities. She also emphasized the importance of advancing blood transfusion medicine in the province, strengthening the talent pool, staying at the forefront of the field, and enhancing the level of clinical blood use.

The academic meeting featured lectures from experts who shared their practical experiences and cutting-edge research in blood transfusion. This exchange of ideas provided a rich and engaging academic experience for attendees, promoting academic progress and fostering closer ties among participating organizations.
