The Sixth Chang'an Standardized Diagnosis and Treatment Course for Headaches was successfully held by the Shaanxi International Medical Exchange Promotion Association

On August 31, the Sixth Chang'an Standardized Diagnosis and Treatment Course for Headaches, co-hosted by the Shaanxi International Medical Exchange Promotion Association and the Shaanxi Provincial People's Hospital, and organized by the Shaanxi Headache Alliance and the Department of Neurology at the Shaanxi Provincial People's Hospital, was successfully held.

 

The conference was chaired by Professor Lei, Qi from the Second Department of Neurology at the Shaanxi Provincial People's Hospital. Opening remarks were given by Professor Wang, Jianhua, Vice President of the Shaanxi Provincial People's Hospital, and Professor Yang, Qian, Executive Vice President of the Brain Disease Hospital of the Shaanxi Provincial People's Hospital. Under the new circumstances, there is an urgent need to update new drugs, new methods, and new concepts for headache diagnosis and treatment. The convening of the Sixth Chang'an Standardized Diagnosis and Treatment Course for Headaches provided a platform for mutual exchange, sharing, and communication, aimed at advancing the development of headache diagnosis and treatment.

 

Experts from the Chinese People's Liberation Army General Hospital, the Air Force Medical University Tangdu Hospital, the Shaanxi Provincial People's Hospital, Wuhan University People's Hospital, and Xi'an Central Hospital delivered specialized reports, while primary care doctors from Ankang Central Hospital, Yan'an University Xianyang Hospital, Hanzhong Central Hospital, and Dali County Hospital shared relevant cases. Experts from the Second Affiliated Hospital of Xi'an Jiao Tong University, the First Affiliated Hospital of the Air Force Medical University (Xijing Hospital), the Shaanxi Provincial People's Hospital, Xi'an No.3 Hospital, the First Affiliated Hospital of Xi'an Medical University, and the Ninth Hospital of Xi’an chaired and provided commentary.

 

These reports reflected the latest advancements in the field of headache both internationally and domestically. The experts present demonstrated high-level theoretical knowledge and extensive practical experience, from which all participants greatly benefited in terms of knowledge growth, theoretical enrichment, and practical guidance. The conference was compact, rich, and efficient, with fascinating specialized reports and a lively atmosphere, showcasing a feast of the latest academic developments in domestic headache studies. The conference promoted the development of the headache discipline in Shaanxi and played an active role in the establishment and development of the headache subspecialty.
