Shaanxi International Medical Exchange Promotion Association Experts Conduct Public Training to Improve Grassroots Healthcare Services in Ziyang

On March 24, experts from the Shaanxi International Medical Exchange Promotion Association were invited to Ziyang County to participate in the "Empowering Primary Healthcare, Advancing Healthy Shaanxi" Medical Equipment Donation and Capacity-Building Training for Grassroots Healthcare Services. Representatives from the Shaanxi Provincial Charity and Relief Association, the Shaanxi International Medical Exchange Promotion Association, and the Ankang Municipal Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, along with relevant experts, attended the event.

The Shaanxi Provincial Charity and Relief Association donated nearly RMB 2 million worth of medical equipment to Ziyang County’s Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital and Gaotan Township Central Health Center. The donation included a heart-lung machine, portable ultrasound, patient monitors, self-service bag dispensers, medicine bags, and CT scan covers.

The Shaanxi International Medical Exchange Promotion Association organized specialists in pharmacy, mental health, and chest pain emergency care to deliver focused training sessions. Over 100 participants attended, including medical leaders and staff from the Ziyang County Medical Consortium Headquarters, affiliated institutions, township clinics, and core personnel from various departments.

This grassroots training initiative significantly enhanced the capacity of primary healthcare services in Ziyang County. It laid a solid foundation for improving the clinical skills of frontline medical workers and effectively safeguarded the health and well-being of the local population. The training was well-received and achieved positive results.
