2025 Annual Meeting and Academic Symposium of the Nuclear Medicine Committee of the Shaanxi International Medical Exchange Promotion Association Successfully Held

 

On April 20, 2025, the 2025 Annual Meeting and Academic Symposium of the Nuclear Medicine Committee of the Shaanxi International Medical Exchange Promotion Association was successfully held in Xi’an. The event was hosted by the Association and organized by the Department of Nuclear Medicine at Shaanxi Provincial People’s Hospital and the Nuclear Medicine Committee of the Association. Attendees included representatives from the Association and the hospital, as well as Professor Wang Jing, Chair of the Nuclear Medicine Branch of the Chinese Medical Association, who attended the opening ceremony and delivered remarks. Over 140 experts and peers from within and outside Shaanxi Province participated. The opening ceremony was chaired by Professor Bai Yongli, Chair of the Committee and Director of the Department of Nuclear Medicine at Shaanxi Provincial People’s Hospital.

 

With the theme of New Technologies and Clinical Applications in Nuclear Medicine, the conference aimed to build an open and inclusive platform for academic exchange, foster discussion on cutting-edge developments, technological innovation, and clinical practices in nuclear medicine, and explore new approaches and solutions to advance the discipline.

 

Keynote speakers included over ten prominent nuclear medicine experts from institutions such as Renji Hospital Affiliated to Shanghai Jiao Tong University, the First Affiliated Hospital of the Army Medical University (Southwest Hospital), Xijing Hospital of the Air Force Medical University, and both the First and Second Affiliated Hospitals of Xi’an Jiaotong University. These experts shared their latest research achievements and innovations in clinical applications.

 

The event featured a wide range of engaging content. Through in-depth learning and discussion, it stimulated research enthusiasm, promoted close interdisciplinary collaboration, and injected fresh momentum into the development of nuclear medicine diagnostics and treatment—jointly paving the way for the limitless future potential of the field.

 

The conference was rich in content and marked by a strong academic atmosphere. Participants gained valuable insights, established meaningful professional connections, and found the experience highly rewarding.
