Shaanxi International Medical Exchange Promotion Association Successfully Holds Training Course on Advances in Pediatric Asthma and Allergic Diseases

On May 24, 2025, the National Continuing Medical Education Program titled “Advances in Pediatric Asthma and Allergic Diseases,” hosted by the Shaanxi International Medical Exchange Promotion Association and organized by the Department of Pediatrics at Xijing Hospital of the Air Force Medical University, was successfully held in the historic city of Xi’an. Over 300 pediatric experts from across China gathered to share the latest advancements in the field and explore future directions for development. The opening ceremony was chaired by Professor Sun Xin, Director of the Pediatrics Department at Xijing Hospital.

During the keynote presentation sessions, participating experts engaged in in-depth academic discussions on cutting-edge developments in pediatric asthma and allergic diseases. Topics included authoritative interpretations of the latest clinical guidelines, innovations in clinical practice, breakthroughs in basic research, and the translational application of clinical findings. Multidimensional and multi-level perspectives were offered to address key challenges in the field. In particular, experts explored the optimization and innovation of pediatric diagnostic and treatment models in the context of evolving healthcare needs, offering participants a high-level academic experience.

Professor Sun Xin, Chair of the conference, emphasized that the event significantly advanced the standardization of pediatric asthma diagnosis and treatment in Shaanxi Province and the greater Northwest China region. He encouraged all participants to leverage this academic platform to deepen collaboration and jointly promote the development of pediatric medicine—ultimately safeguarding the health and well-being of children.
