The Standardized Periodontal Basic Treatment Training Course of the Shaanxi International Medical Exchange Promotion Association Successfully Held

From June 17 to 18, 2025, the Standardized Periodontal Basic Treatment Training Course, hosted by the Shaanxi International Medical Exchange Promotion Association and organized by the Stomatological Hospital of Xi’an Jiaotong University, was held in Xi’an. The event aimed to enhance the professional skills of dental practitioners in the field of basic periodontal treatment and to promote the process of standardized diagnosis and treatment.

The training course invited distinguished lecturers, including Prof. Wang, Qintao, Chair of the 6th Periodontology Committee of the Chinese Stomatological Association; Prof. Huang, Ruizhe, Vice Chair of the Oral Preventive Medicine Committee of the Chinese Stomatological Association and Chair of the Clinical Laboratory and Medical Ethics Committee of the Shaanxi International Medical Exchange Promotion Association; and Sun, Junyi, Director of the Special Consultation and Special Needs Department of the Stomatological Hospital of Xi’an Jiaotong University. These senior experts in the field conducted in-depth teaching and hands-on guidance covering multiple dimensions of periodontal disease diagnosis and treatment.

Through the close integration of theory and practical training, the course enabled participants to systematically master standardized basic periodontal treatment skills, injecting momentum into optimizing clinical diagnosis and treatment services and promoting the standardized development of the dental healthcare industry. The program received widespread acclaim from participants, who expressed anticipation for more such professional training in the future to continuously advance the overall level of dental healthcare.
