2025 Annual Meeting of the SIMEPA Chest Pain Committee Successfully Concludes

On October 25, 2025, the 2025 Annual Meeting of the Chest Pain Committee of the Shaanxi International Medical Exchange Promotion Association (SIMEPA) was successfully held in Xi’an. The event was hosted by SIMEPA and organized by Xi’an Honghui Hospital. More than 170 participants—including members of the Chest Pain Committee and representatives from primary healthcare institutions across the province—attended the meeting. The opening ceremony was chaired by Prof. Cheng, Gong, Chair of the Committee and Director of the Cardiovascular Disease Diagnosis and Treatment Center at Xi’an Honghui Hospital.

The conference featured a compact and well-structured agenda with rich content, covering key areas such as guideline interpretation, risk prevention, advanced concepts, and clinical techniques. Multiple experts presented the latest international perspectives on treatment strategies, provided in-depth analysis of complex clinical challenges, and shared practical experience through detailed case discussions—offering valuable references for frontline clinical practice.

The SIMEPA Chest Pain Committee stated that it will continue to focus on improving regional chest pain emergency care capabilities as its core mission. Through regular academic exchanges, precise skills training, and continual improvement of system-level infrastructure, the Committee aims to promote the high-quality development of chest pain diagnosis and treatment across Shaanxi Province and to contribute meaningfully to the implementation of the “Healthy China” initiative.
