Shaanxi International Medical Exchange Promotion Association’s Group Standard Approved for the 2025 High-Quality Development Program for Group Standards by the Shaanxi Health Industry Society Service Center

Recently, the Shaanxi Health Industry Society Service Center officially released the list of approved projects for the 2025 High-Quality Development Program for Group Standards, which includes a total of seven projects. The Perioperative Infection Management Standard for Robot-Assisted Surgery, organized and submitted by our Association, successfully received project approval following a series of procedures including preliminary application recommendation, formal review, and expert evaluation.

This achievement represents not only a key breakthrough for our Association in advancing the standardization of medical technologies, but also highlights the professional leadership role we play in technical standard development as a provincial-level 5A social organization. The standard focuses on practical industry needs and aims to systematically establish and regulate a perioperative infection prevention and control framework for robot-assisted surgical settings, providing clear and unified technical operational and management guidelines for medical institutions at all levels.

The implementation of this standard will help reduce the risk of surgical site infections and related complications, effectively safeguard patient safety, and enhance overall surgical quality and management standards.
