2025 Professional Technical Training Program on Fetal Monitoring Successfully Held in Xi’an by the Shaanxi International Medical Exchange Promotion Association

To further standardize the clinical application of electronic fetal heart rate monitoring and enhance the professional competence of obstetric medical staff across the province, the 2025 Professional Technical Training Program on Fetal Monitoring was successfully held on December 28 at the Xi’an Angel Maternity Hospital. The program was hosted by the Shaanxi International Medical Exchange Promotion Association and jointly organized by the Obstetrics and Gynecology Professional Committee of the Association and Xi’an Angel Maternity Hospital.

Focusing on the interpretation of fetal monitoring technical standards and core issues in clinical practice, the training program invited several well-known provincial experts to deliver lectures. The content combined strong professionalism with practical relevance, attracting more than one hundred obstetrics and gynecology clinical healthcare professionals from medical institutions at all levels across the province to attend on site. At the same time, the live online broadcast drew more than 2,000 viewers, jointly contributing to the standardized and precision-oriented improvement of fetal monitoring skills throughout the province.

The successful convening of this training program effectively helped obstetricians and midwives in grassroots medical institutions across the province to update their knowledge systems related to fetal heart rate monitoring and to enhance their clinical interpretation and management capabilities. The program is of significant importance in reducing the incidence of adverse perinatal outcomes, safeguarding maternal and infant health, and improving the overall quality of perinatal healthcare in Shaanxi Province.
