Leadership Election Meeting of the SIMEPA Dermatology and Aesthetic Dermatology Committee and 2026 Academic Conference Successfully Held

On July 11, 2026, the Leadership Election Meeting and 2026 Academic Conference of the Dermatology and Aesthetic Dermatology Committee of the Shaanxi International Medical Exchange Promotion Association (SIMEPA) was successfully held in Xi'an. The event was organized by SIMEPA and hosted by the Dermatology and Aesthetic Dermatology Committee of SIMEPA and The Second Affiliated Hospital of Xi'an Jiaotong University.

During the leadership election meeting, the Committee completed its new leadership election through a democratic voting process. Professor Wang Xiaopeng, Secretary of the Party Branch of the Department of Dermatology at The Second Affiliated Hospital of Xi'an Jiaotong University, was elected as the Chair of the Committee. Professors Cao Wei, Chen Xiaoyan, Fan Jinghua, Han Haicheng, Hui Haiying, Jing Wenwen, Kou Pengtao, Liu Xiaobing, Lu Tao, Ma Kedang, Mu Xin, Ren Jianwen, and Shen Xiaoxia were elected as Vice Chairs, forming the Committee's new leadership team.

Following the leadership election, the 2026 Academic Conference was held. The scientific program focused on the standardized diagnosis and treatment of common and complex dermatological diseases, targeted therapies for inflammatory skin diseases, evidence-based skincare, and medical aesthetic technologies. Through keynote presentations and expert panel discussions, specialists from medical institutions across Shaanxi Province shared the latest research findings, clinical experience, and practical approaches to patient management.

The successful conference further strengthened collaboration among professionals in dermatology and aesthetic dermatology across the province, providing a valuable platform for academic exchange and professional development. The meeting also contributed to improving clinical practice and advancing the high-quality development of dermatology and aesthetic medicine in Shaanxi Province.
