First Chest Pain Quality Improvement Conference Successfully Held by SIMEPA

On July 17, 2026, the First Chest Pain Quality Improvement Conference was successfully held at the Academic Lecture Hall of the Lugang Campus of The First Affiliated Hospital of Xi'an Jiaotong University. The conference was organized by the Shaanxi International Medical Exchange Promotion Association (SIMEPA) and hosted by the Chest Pain Center Quality Control Committee of SIMEPA.

The conference featured a series of expert presentations focusing on key topics in cardiovascular emergency care and quality improvement, including reports on cardiovascular and chest pain center quality management, interpretation of the expert consensus on intracoronary thrombolysis, quality improvement in the management of acute myocardial infarction (AMI), electrocardiography (ECG) quality management, and recent advances in the diagnosis and treatment of heart failure. These presentations provided participants with updates on current clinical standards, quality control strategies, and emerging developments in cardiovascular medicine.

The meeting also included case-based discussions featuring representative clinical cases and mortality reviews, allowing participants to analyze challenging cases, exchange clinical experience, and discuss opportunities for improving patient care and quality management. In addition, the conference outlined the Committee's priorities and work plan for the next phase of the Chest Pain Quality Improvement Program, further promoting the standardization and continuous improvement of chest pain care across the region.
