The First Academic Conference on the Multicenter Diagnosis and Treatment of Rare Lung Cancer Mutations in Northwest China, organized by Shaanxi International Medical Exchange Promotion Association (SXIMEA), was successfully held.

 

On February 19, 2023, the "First Academic Conference on Multicenter Diagnosis and Treatment of Rare Lung Cancer Mutations in Northwest China," hosted by the SXIMEA, was successfully held online. The conference featured academic presentations by numerous well-known domestic experts and scholars in the field, attracting 758 views.

 

The conference began with an opening speech by Professor Yu Yao from the First Affiliated Hospital of Xi'an Jiao Tong University.

 

The first guest speaker was Professor Tao Tian from the First Affiliated Hospital of Xi'an Jiao Tong University, who presented on the topic of "2022 ALK+ NSCLC Treatment Review." The discussion session was chaired by Professor Yao Yu from the First Affiliated Hospital of Xi'an Jiao Tong University. Professors Aili Suo from the First Affiliated Hospital of Xi'an Jiao Tong University, Lichun Cui from Chang'an Hospital, Mireguli from the Eighth Affiliated Hospital of Xinjiang Medical University, and Xiting Liu from Gansu Provincial Cancer Hospital contributed to the discussion on the shared content.

 

The second academic sharing session was chaired by Professor Da Zhao from the First Hospital of Lanzhou University. Professor Ling Ma from the Affiliated Cancer Hospital of Xinjiang Medical University delivered the presentation.

 

 

The third guest speaker was Yahuan Guo from Shaanxi Provincial Cancer Hospital, who presented on the topic of "Exploring Unmet Clinical Treatment Needs in Precision Lung Cancer Therapy." The discussion session was chaired by Professor Xiaoming Hou from the First Hospital of Lanzhou University.

 

The following academic session was chaired by Professor Xinlan Liu from the General Hospital of Ningxia Medical University. The guest speaker was Professor Jun Jiang from the Affiliated Hospital of Qinghai University, who shared on the topic of "NGS Testing Clinical Application Review."

 

At the end of the conference, Professors Yu Yao, Chunling Liu, Junhui Zhao, Ren Zhao, and Xiaoming Hou each provided a summary. This conference brought a comprehensive and fresh perspective to professionals in the field of lung cancer, further promoting and enhancing new concepts in the diagnosis and treatment of rare lung cancer mutations. It aimed to advance the development of lung cancer specialties in the northwest region, improve the professional level in related fields of lung cancer diagnosis, help lung cancer specialists enhance their diagnostic and differential diagnostic capabilities and standards, and jointly promote progress and development in the field of lung cancer specialties.
