The seminar on the tripartite linkage of healthcare under the new medical reform situation by the Shaanxi International Medical Exchange Promotion Association (SXIMEA) held.

On February 23, 2023, the “Seminar on Tripartite Linkage of Healthcare under the New Medical Reform Situation” hosted by the SXIMEA was successfully held online. The conference invited several renowned experts and scholars in the field to give academic lectures online, with a viewership reaching 411 views.

The conference was first opened with a speech by Professor Xiaolin Xue from the First Affiliated Hospital of Xi’an Jiao Tong University. The first guest speaker was Professor Huang Zuo the First Affiliated Hospital of Xi’an Jiao Tong University. His topic was “The Cost Control Role of Centralized Drug Procurement in DRG/DIP.” Professor Kanghuai Zhang from the Second Affiliated Hospital of Xi’an Jiao Tong University served as the host for the discussion segment. Professors Jianhua Shan from Xianyang Central Hospital, Junmei Song from Baoji People’s Hospital, Hui Ding from Xi’an Third Hospital, Siping Feng from Yan’an People’s Hospital, and Jinping Wang from Xi’an Central Hospital discussed the shared content. The second academic sharing session was hosted by Professor Jin Wei from the Second Affiliated Hospital of Xi’an Jiao Tong University. Professor Xin Jiang from Shaanxi People’s Hospital was the guest speaker. The content shared was “Medium to High Intensity Atorvastatin for the Prevention of Cardiovascular Disease (CVD): Evidence and Recommendations.”

The next discussion segment was hosted by Professor Ling Bai the First Affiliated Hospital of Xi’an Jiao Tong University, with Professor Lihong Fan from the First Affiliated Hospital of Xi’an Jiao Tong University, Professor Qiong Wang from Xijing Hospital, Professor Xiaohui Xu from Xidian Group Hospital, Professor Fengjun Jiao from Xi’an Chang’an District Hospital, and Professor Dong Wang from Ankang Central Hospital participating in the discussion.

The conference was finally concluded by Professor Xiaolin Xue. He noted that the requirements for fine-tuning capabilities in hospitals have been heightened following the DRG/DIP payment reform. The pharmacy department needs to further strengthen its refined management, and clinical teachers need to cooperate. They should respond to the advancement of the national centralized volume-based drug procurement system, promote the practice of centralized volume-based drug procurement with DRG/DIP payment reform, and contribute to the healthy development of the pharmaceutical industry in Shaanxi Province.
