On January 22, 2024, a delegation led by Nozir Ibragimov, the Assistant to the Governor of Samarkand Region, Uzbekistan, visited the Weinan Haicheng Dermatology Hospital, a Vice-Chairman Unit of the Shaanxi International Medical Exchange Promotion Association (SXIMEA), for an inspection, research, and exchange discussion. The visit was accompanied by Han, Haicheng, the President of Weinan Haicheng Dermatology Hospital, along with Vice Presidents Chen, Gang and Wang, Hongli, and Assistant to the President Yang, Mei.

President Han, Haicheng welcomed the delegation, providing a brief introduction to the hospital's development, its research and academic strengths, and its future prospects.

Assistant to the Governor Nozir Ibragimov expressed gratitude for the warm reception at Weinan Haicheng Dermatology Hospital, praised the hospital's development, and showed keen interest in Chinese herbal medicine and the hospital's in-house preparations. He introduced the basic situation of Samarkand Region, noting its typical continental climate, dry and hot weather, long sunlight hours, and some experience in growing medicinal herbs. However, he acknowledged the need for new technologies, a deeper understanding of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) culture, and the desire for further exchanges. He looked forward to enhancing interactions and cooperation through this visit, aiming to promote economic development and the level of TCM development in Samarkand Region.

After the discussion, President Han Haicheng presented gifts to Assistant Governor Nozir Ibragimov.

Assistant Governor Nozir Ibragimov extended an invitation to President Han, Haicheng, expressing his hope that President Han could lead his research team on a field visit to Samarkand Region, Uzbekistan. Additionally, Assistant Governor Ibragimov specifically invited President Han Haicheng and Vice President Chen Gang to attend the "China Shaanxi Province - Uzbekistan Samarkand Region Business Forum," scheduled for January 26th in Xi'an, Shaanxi.

The forum was organized by the People's Government of Shaanxi Province and hosted by the Provincial Department of Commerce. During the forum, President Han, Haicheng of the Weinan Haicheng Dermatology Hospital, a Vice-Chairman Unit of the Shaanxi International Medical Exchange Promotion Association (SXIMEA), signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the Uzbek side. This agreement has deepened and solidified the economic and trade cooperation between Shaanxi and Uzbekistan and marked the beginning of Weinan Haicheng Dermatology Hospital's journey towards internationalization.

Weinan Haicheng Dermatology Hospital, a Vice-Chairman Unit of the Shaanxi International Medical Exchange Promotion Association (SXIMEA), will take this opportunity to further strengthen the research and development of Chinese herbal medicine in-house preparations and scientific research. This initiative aims to promote joint scientific research and academic collaborations, and share scientific achievements between both parties. By implementing a "bringing in and going out" development strategy, the hospital seeks to pursue substantive cooperation in the medical field, achieve mutual exchange and sharing of medical concepts, and continuously deepen and expand interactions with various regions in Uzbekistan. This approach aims to realize mutual benefit and win-win outcomes, thereby promoting the high-quality development of the hospital.
