The Shaanxi International Medical Exchange Promotion Association (SXIMEA) focuses on promoting medical cooperation among the five Central Asian countries.

The SXIMEA, relying on the 'Overseas Intelligence Serving the Country Action Plan Work Base,' has been focusing on promoting medical cooperation among the five Central Asian countries. After nearly three years of efforts, under the support and hard work of Professor Fuyong Jiao, the person in charge of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Hospital Cooperation Alliance International Cooperation and Exchange Center, Vice President of the SXIMEA, and Honorary Dean of the Children's Hospital of Shaanxi Provincial People's Hospital, Dr. Aubakirova Nurzhamal, a pediatrician from Nur Sultan Baldyrgan Medical Center in Kazakhstan, led the formal signing of the medical cooperation strategic agreement, which includes Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, and Turkmenistan in Central Asia, as well as three countries, Russia, Georgia, and India. Currently, the electronic signing has been completed.

The signing of the agreement will contribute to medical exchanges and cooperation among Central Asian countries and Belt and Road Initiative countries. The future will be supported by cooperative innovation, adhering to the principles of complementary advantages, mutual benefit and win-win, and friendly cooperation. The process of the cooperation agreement will be accelerated, and a series of international medical cooperation projects will be gradually launched to improve the medical technical level of medical staff and jointly promote the development of human health.

In 2019, Professor Fuyong Jiao, the person in charge of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Hospital Cooperation Alliance International Cooperation and Exchange Center, Vice President of the SXIMEA, and Honorary Dean of the Children's Hospital of Shaanxi Provincial People's Hospital, was invited by Gulyayev, the former Vice President and President of the National Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan. He traveled to the capital of Turkmenistan to attend the International Science and Technology Innovation Conference and deliver a conference report. This marked the start of the first medical staff member from Shaanxi Province, and the only Chinese person at that time, to be invited to attend the International Science and Technology Innovation Conference. This started the cooperation and exchange of the Medical Alliance of the five Central Asian countries.

During 2020-2022, the SXIMEA held several dozen international medical online conferences attended by Central Asian countries. Professor Fuyong Jiao also accepted the invitation from the Ministry of Health of Turkmenistan to participate online in the International Medical Conference hosted by Turkmenistan and gave three conference reports on the diagnosis and treatment of diseases. Both the SXIMEA and Professor Fuyong Jiao have made positive efforts to promote medical exchanges among Central Asian countries.

Over the past three years, with the support of experts such as Professor Anayev, Director of the Turkmenistan National Cardiovascular Center, Professor Fuyong Jiao has published China's first book that includes 41 papers from Central Asian countries, among which 26 foreign medical personnel participated in international research on the anti-COVID-19 pandemic. The book is titled 'Research on International Anti-COVID-19 Pandemic'. He also published research on Kawasaki disease, which involved medical personnel from 16 countries.
